About Us
Nicole and I bought Blue Moon in September of 2009, and have loved every minute of it.
I have always had a passion for food, and working in the service industry, and I have been in the specialty coffee industry for a few years and plan on spending the rest of my life behind the bar. I have competed in barista competitions in the past and look forward to having the time to compete again. Currently I am also attending culinary school full time at night, and on occasion I blog about my adventures in food and drink, you can catch my ramblings here at www.mtbarista.com.
Nicole is originally from Billings, MT where she worked as a Licensed Addiction Counselor at a dual diagnosis treatment facility. She was ready for a change and we decided to head west to get the shop here. She is enjoying the break from counseling doing something she has always loved; making coffee and new friends.
Our baby girl Sailor is a St Bernard who lounges outside the shop as much as we will let her. She likes long walks, breves and a good belly rub.
We strive to make a place where you can come and relax and get a quality coffee and a scratch made pastry. We use only the best local products in our coffee. Stumptown roasts our coffee, our tea comes from the magicians at The Jasmine Pearl. Our chocolate is from the masterminds of Holy Kakow. All of our pastries are made fresh daily, either in house or brought in from Kettleman Bagels, but make sure to come in early because once they are gone, they’re gone!
Cheers-
Cory & Nicole Neal
